Tracy Persson is joining the Women of Influence Awards as keynote speaker on March 8, International Women’s Day.
Persson is a local entrepreneur and community leader with a focus on helping support and empower other women. She is the owner, designer and creator of two small businesses: Cozy Intentions, a casual ladies clothing line that donates a portion of sales back to women’s shelters across Alberta; and Soul Remedies Inc. which provides yoga, meditation and women’s life coaching. In her work, Persson is dedicated to mentoring other women, including such ventures as the Women in Business ATB BoostR competition.
“Tracy has a unique way of supporting women and helping them find their power and bring out their best qualities. She is also one who is working on her own growth and helping to create a pathway for others to do the same. We’re thrilled to welcome her as keynote speaker so she can share her story and inspire others,” says Rhonda Reichert, committee member of the Women of Influence Awards.
“It is such an incredible honour to be a part of the Women of Influence Awards. One of my mottos for my business and life is ‘Women Helping Women.’ This event shines a light on women in our community that truly live these words with their service to others. To be asked to share in even a small way was a very important moment for me,” says Tracy Persson.
The Women of Influence Awards honour women who have made outstanding contributions to their industries or fields through their leadership and entrepreneurship, meaningful accomplishments and achievements, and breaking down barriers or making significant advancements in their field.
