United Way Day of Caring

Saturday, July 4 is the United Way Day of Caring.

In honour of the occasion a group City of Grande Prairie employees have volunteered their time to help construct a wheelchair ramp at the south side Cool Aid location, next to the Dave Barr Arena.

The ramp is required before the facility can open its doors to the public.

The fundraiser is expected to take place all day, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and finishing at 5:00 p.m.
