Multiplex Site Tour Demonstrates Progress

The Aquatics and Wellness Multiplex is closing in on 50% completion and is on budget and meeting its construction schedule.

 

Local media toured the Multiplex construction site today to view progress. Highlights include:

The completed structure Roofing is 90% complete Glazing on the exterior glass has begun Installation of the mechanical and filtration systems for the pools is well underway

 

“Seeing the progress the Multiplex is making is exhilarating,” says Felix Seiler, Director of Community Services. “We are happy to report we are on budget and schedule and look forward to the finished result.”

 

The $109-million complex is scheduled to open in summer 2011.

 

Installation of the main competition pool will begin by the end of February.

 

“it will be exciting to watch this take shape as this is a focal point of the facility,” says Seiler.
