The City of Grande Prairie and the Community Housing and Supports for Everyone (gpCHASE) Advisory Board invite submissions for funding proposals under the Government of Canada’s Homelessness Partnering Strategy and the Provincial Homelessness Initiative.

Proposal must address one or more of the following priorities identified in the 2007-2009 Grande Prairie Community Plan:

·         Outreach Services

·         Emergency Housing

·         Transitional Housing

·         Sustainability/Community Capacity

Proposals under the Provincial Homelessness Initiative must support provisions of housing and/or housing support services to alleviate the problem of homelessness.

Application Deadline: 12:00 noon, Wednesday, November 26, 2008.

Projects must be completed by March 31, 2009.

Provincial Homelessness Initiative funding available - $180,000

Homelessness Partnership Strategy funding available- $35,000
