Pursuit of Excellence Awards Athletes at Peace Wapiti Academy

City of Grande Prairie’s Pursuit of Excellence Committee members Lorne Radbourne, Chair and Bob Neufeld were on hand at the school this morning to present two scholarship and two athlete development awards to four outstanding athletes from Peace Wapiti Academy.


Molly Bouchard was awarded a $1000 Scholarship for her prowess on the wrestling mat while Mitchell Coté received his $1000 Scholarship for his success with volleyball with both the Peace Wapiti Academy Titans and Wolves Volleyball. 

 

Athlete Development funding of $1000 was awarded to Tyson Beaupre to assist him as he trains to defend his 2008 Alberta Junior and Juvenile Boys Golf Champion title.   Parker Jobin receive Athlete Development funding toward his training as he competes on the Peace Wapiti Academy Titans and with the Wolves Volleyball programs.
