About Alberta Culture Days
Alberta Culture Days started in Calgary in 2008 as Alberta Arts Day to recognize the value of Alberta’s arts and culture communities. It expanded into a three-day, provincial celebration to raise awareness, accessibility, participation, and engagement in Arts & Culture shortly thereafter before transitioning into a month-long celebration in 2020.
Each year organizers host interactive activities, artisan demonstrations, live performances, workshops and more to engage Albertans in the cultural diversity and creativity that makes this province unique.
