Business Licensing Process and Fees

Any person wishing to operate a business listed in the attached table is required to have the appropriate licence.  All Non-Resident Businesses require a Business Licence. All home based businesses will require a home office consent form or a home based business permit from our Planning and Development department prior to the approval of the business licence application.

Licence fees vary depending on the type of business. Every Business Licence expires at midnight, at month end, one calendar year from the initial date it is issued.

Business Licence Governance

All Business Licences are governed by the Business Licence Bylaw and Business Licensing is responsible for addressing applications, suspensions, and other matters related to such licences.
