Start small and dream big! GP Grows is back for a second year and the City of Grande Prairie wants to help you get started on your own backyard garden this season.
Get started on cultivating your own homegrown veggies by registering online to receive a free Gardening at Home starter pack. This package is available to residents of the City of Grande Prairie, with a limit on one supply kit per household. Kit quantities are limited and are expected to run out quickly.
Your starter kit includes 10 seeds and peat pellets you need to get growing. Get creative with your containers at home- seedlings can take root in anything from a mason jar to an egg carton. You’ll be on your way to cultivating healthy vegetables at home in no time!

We’ll be checking in along the way on social media with tips, tricks and troubleshooting to ensure your garden is a delicious success.
Registration for the program will run from April 14 to 28, 2021 or until supplies run out.
Gardening at Home kit pick up is April 30-May 1, 2021 and pickup instructions will be emailed out to participants in advance.
