Adult Culture and Craft Series 
Preserving Family HistoryCrafts for Adults
Come share your family history with others and learn how to take care of the physical documents and photographs that tell your family's story from a South Peace Regional Archives' archivist. A small sorting activity will take place after the presentation. Participants may bring up to 3 items to discuss with the Archivist.

3D Needle Felting Animal Workshop
Learn how to use needle felting tools to create a 3D felted animal over the course of 2 evenings. This program offers a social atmosphere among adults while craft-making. All supplies will be provided. This is a guided needle felting project where all participants create the same animal.

Calligraphy Workshop
Develop the visual appeal of your writing by trying the fine art of calligraphy. After practicing, create a card for your loved one and write a message using your newly acquired skills.

The Grande Prairie Museum and Heritage Discovery Centre offer a variety of curriculum-based programs throughout the school year. These programs are ideal for educators that would like to have their students explore our local history in a hand-on- environment.
