The City of Grande Prairie is introducing a new online registration system for recreational programs, services, rentals, memberships and more. Users will now see small changes for in-person transactions at our recreation facilities and the system will be fully available for online transactions starting February 18.
The new system replaces the old registration system, known as eConnect, while offering an enhanced experience for residents.
- A new, user-friendly, online system to register and pay for programs using any web-enabled device at any time of day.
- Family account management to keep track of your whole family's activities and schedules in one place.
- Personalized accounts that track past activity and a robust search function that allow users to search for activities by keyword, date, or location.
- Up-to-date availability for facilities and programs and immediate reservations.
The new recreation management software is being implemented to improve the customer experience and be more responsive to the growing needs for online services. It works systematically with the cityofgp.com website to make it easier for users to book and buy programs, rental spaces, memberships and more.
Residents can now create an account on the new registration system at cityofgp.com/register. All program registrations will open on February 18.
Transfer of E-Connect Accounts
The City of Grande Prairie’s eConnect services are no longer available. All active eConnect accounts are being automatically transferred to the new online registration system. Transferred accounts will receive an email from email@example.com containing the required online registration login details once the account is transferred.
