The Centre for Creative Arts and City of Grande Prairie welcome community organizations, artists, and businesses to join in on this year’s local Alberta Culture Days celebrations.

With the expansion into a month-long celebration throughout September, Alberta Culture Days offers a new level of flexibility in scheduling in-person, virtual, and take-home activities both indoors and outdoors. Past organizers are inviting the community to join in on the celebrations by planning and offering original activities to the public as part of the local festivities.

Digital Event Listing

The City of Grande Prairie is creating a digital listing for local Alberta Culture Days events and activities. Events and activities can be included in this resource free of charge by submitting finalized event details on the submission form at cityofgp.com/CultureDays. All details must be received by August 13, 2021 for events occurring in September 2021.

The digital listing will be available on cityofgp.com/CultureDays and creativecentre.ca/culture-days starting at the end of August to provide residents with a centralized location to find information on all events and activities happening in the community and to serve as a promotional tool for organizers.

Organizers are also encouraged to set Alberta Culture Days GP (facebook.com/ABCultureDaysGP) as a co-host when creating any Alberta Culture Days events on Facebook.
