Public Skating Rules

  • All participants must wear skates or ice cleats/grippers while on the ice, shoes are not allowed.
  • EZEE Skate is the only device permitted for use.
  • Food and beverages are not permitted on the ice. 
  • Tag, whips, games, jumps or throwing of anything is not permitted.
  • No-one is to be on the ice while the ice resurfacer is being operated. Wait until gates closed to go on the ice.
  • It is required for participants under 18 to wear a CSA approved helmet.
  • No sticks and pucks are permitted for Public Skate.

Please be advised that starting September 20, the Eastlink Centre and the Coca Cola Centre adopted the Government of Alberta's Restrictions Exemptions Program (REP) and requires individuals aged 18 and up, unless within a youth user group, to provide proof of vaccination, a recent negative test result or documentation of medical exemption in order to be in the facilities.
