Eight vacancies are available for public members to join the Grande Prairie Airport Commission and Economic Development Strategic Planning and Advisory Committee.
The Grande Prairie Airport Commission has one public member seat available. The role of the Commission is to manage and operate the Grande Prairie Airport in a safe, secure and efficient manner while promoting and developing the Airport services to maximize revenue generation and thus, ensuring the commercial viability of the Airport in support of the overall economic development of Grande Prairie.
The Economic Development Strategic Planning and Advisory Committee is seeking seven public members. This committee provides an effective link between Management, Council and the business community. The Committee provides the opportunity for input from the business community by engaging business leaders as advisors. Members will be encouraged to provide input on the standards and objectives necessary to attract and retain healthy economic development and to ensure the delivery of high quality, current, innovative and relevant service in Grande Prairie.
