Land Use Bylaw Amendment

The amendment would create a new DC-29 Site Specific Direct Control District and rezone the subject lands from CA- Arterial Commercial District to the new DC-29 District.  The purpose of the new DC-29 District is to allow the site of the Stonebridge Hotel to be used for Permanent Supported Housing and transitional housing. Support services for the residents, such as heath services, counselling, etc. would also be permitted. The amendment would also allow the City’s Community Social Development and Enforcement Services Departments to establish offices on the site. City Council would be the approving authority for all uses and standards in the DC-29 District.

The following Public Hearing will be held during a regularly scheduled City Council Meeting at 6 p.m. in City Council Chambers, located at City Hall, 10205 – 98 Street, Grande Prairie.
