The main entrance is at Muskoseepi Park where 102 Street meets 102 Avenue. Just a short walk over the footbridge from the public parking near Mini Links mini-golf course.
The Grande Prairie Museum has been situated in Muskoseepi Park since the early 1970s, across Bear Creek from the City's Centennial Park.
The Museum is the heart of the Culture & Heritage Department, housing the administration centre for the department.
From this location, educational programs are developed, tours are organized and interpretive displays and temporary exhibits are designed and offered to Museum visitors.
The goal of the Grande Prairie Museum is to be an institution that meets professional museum standards, pursuing excellence in our collecting activity, and protecting the objects that tell the story of our heritage.
