You’ll find plenty of fun, free things to do in the City of Grande Prairie all year round! From large events, to free programs and activities, to enjoying our beautiful parks and recreation spaces, the City provides many options to get out with your family and enjoy the city.
All Year Round
The Art Gallery of Grande Prairie offers free admission all year round.
The Grande Prairie Museum is open all year round, seven days a week. They often host exhibit openings, historical demonstrations and special events throughout the year. See the calendar here.
The Heritage Discovery Centre (HDC) is an exciting interpretive museum open daily, all year round.
The Eastlink Centre common areas are always open to the public. Kids can participate in free games such as Bucket Ball, Spike Ball, Chess, Checkers, Snakes and Ladders, Beam (projector games on the floor), Yahtzee, Twister and the Bean Bag Toss.
People are always welcome to watch sporting events from the bleachers played in the Fieldhouse.
