Class based education for teachers and fieldtrips

The City of Grande Prairie offers class-based educational programs that are designed for Kindergarten to Grade 12 and are current with the Alberta Education Curriculum. Teachers can use these programs to kick off a new unit, as a fun lesson to review material taught in class or as a hands-on learning experience students will remember for years to come.

Programs are available to all members of the public as long as they follow the Teacher & Chaperone Guidelines (please see the Class-Based Program Request Form below for the Guidelines).

Some programs require materials for the teacher to review, print and provide for the program; all other materials will be provided by the programmer. Please see the Teacher Material Prep Requirements for the programs below.
