The triathlon route begins with swimming in the Olympic or 25m pool at the Eastlink Centre, Kids of Steel participants will then ride their bikes through the trail system and then run through the trail system to finish on the north end of Knowledge Way.
The adult race goes down 68 Avenue. For the safety of participants and commuters, 68 Avenue will be closed from Poplar Drive to Knowledge Way from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. during the triathlon. Please be aware that the closure could be extended depending on the number of racers.
Five & Under Category
Parents of children registered in the Kids of Steel 5 & Under category can enter the 25m pool to support their child for the swimming portion of the triathlon, at no charge.
Other Kids of Steel categories have lifeguard in the pool with participants to help them complete the swim.
