The Eastlink Centre is a 450,000 square foot modern health and fitness facility offering aquatic and recreation activities to a wide range of users. The facility opened its doors on December 12, 2011.
The site provides a mix of aquatics and field sports opportunities and accommodates every athlete's needs from beginner to recreational to competitive.
This facility is operated as a City of Grande Prairie facility with full public access to local residents and visitors as well as an operating partnership with the City's Community Knowledge Partners.
It connects the already existing facilities - Coca-Cola Centre, St. Joseph High School,Gymniks Gymnastic Club and the newly-constructed Charles Spencer High School. All components share underground access and a connected heating/cooling infrastructure.
The design provides barrier free access for all levels of ability with access to all concourse and sporting areas.
