The City of Grande Prairie and the County of Grande Prairie are seeking public input on the future road network south of the Grande Prairie Airport. Specifically, road and intersection development on the land south of 100 Avenue, between Range Road 64 and 65.

"Engaging our community in the future of our road network connectivity is a positive undertaking for our region. Working on this joint initiative with the County of Grande Prairie to gather public input and ensure the development of a robust road network supports our strategic priorities of Engaging Relationships and Innovative Efficiencies and Economic Readiness" says City of Grande Prairie Mayor Jackie Clayton. "Together, we aim to create an efficient and safe transportation system that caters to both of our community’s needs.”

“Whether you live in the County or the City, a safe and useful road network is important to all residents and visitors,” said County of Grande Prairie Reeve Bob Marshall. “Working together, we will develop recommendations that will help grow the economy and better connect the region. We look forward to hearing what is important to residents.”

McElhanney Ltd. has been retained to oversee the project, including gathering valuable insights from the public and other stakeholders.
